  I visited the podiatrist here as I have a bipartite sesamoid in my right foot that is inflamed by my steel cap boots. I was subjected to unnecessary pain by the podiatrist squeezing it. Completely the opposite of what an earlier podiatrist had said should be done, the first podiatrist said touching it was the worst thing to do.

  I was also forced to by a "moon boot" that didn't help me at all. As it uses compression and this compression was causing me discomfort and when I took it off at night my foot would throb with pain. When I told the podiatrist this she didn't listen at all and after checking my movement in it said that it had to be tighter otherwise I might as well not use it at all. So I stopped using it and after weeks of little to no improvement in my pain level while using it and then stopping using it my foot was getting better within days.
