  Rang the salesman at Donahues Hamilton for a 2nd inspection of a caravan Friday before June long weekend, asked about water damage etc.Was told there was a leak in left hand rear and leak was now repaired.He wouldn't be there Saturday but Shane Donahue would be. Drove from Portland to Hamilton, on arrival we were met by Shane I told him I was interested but wanted to hear how noisy the air con was. 3 times I asked before I informed him that I would not buy until he let me hear it operate.He finally plugged a lead some 10 metres away with operation OK On inspection of water damage we found white tape stuck over rotted panel board in bottom cupboard.When asked if tape could be removed to see extent of damage the anger started. We asked if we have a look at the damage report from the workshop, the initial response was yes then he exploded. I asked why he was so angry and was told we were questioning his integrity and would not remove any panels for inspection. I told him again that just the tape removal would be OK.Again he said no with a raised voice and told us he had started the air con what else did we want him to do.When I told him it didn't appear that we would be doing business he then stormed out of the van and tore the lead out leaving us in the dark.The bang from the office door as he went in could be heard all over the yard. My advice would be to deal with the salesman and not the owner.

  We want to thank Shane and his great team for the wonderful service we received. We were locked out of our van and we called Donehue's after hours and Shane thankfully answered the phone. He drove straight to the the caravan park and fixed the lock temporarily so we could get in the van. The next day we went to the caravan yard and the service people fitted a new lock. They also looked at a couple of other things and ordered the parts for us and when they arrived fitted them too. I can highly recommend this business to anyone, we were in a fix and they helped us out. Thank you one and all for your help and a big thank you for Shane coming to our aid, after business hours.
